Cardinal Filoni told the present Assembly of the Pontifical Mission Societies that – quote - "it is necessary to review the methods of evangelization". He added that a re-appropriation of evangelical radicalism is necessary for an apostolic activity to be fruitful. The Assembly will continue until Saturday. Gloria.tv would like to know what is this “re-appropriation of evangelical radicalism” and what makes it “radical”?

Bishop Di Falco of Gap, of southeastern France, has offered one of his churches for the funeral of late Father Dominique Lagneau from the FSPX. Lagneau, who died on May 12th from a heart attack, was superior of the contemplative house of the FSPX in Montgardin. According to the blog Le Salon Beige, the bishop has even visited the catafalque of the dead priest who was a former professor in the FSPX seminaries located in Ecône and Flavigny and was also director of the seminary in La Reja, Argentina. The funeral will be celebrated by Bishop Bernard Fellay in the Church of the Cordeliers in Gap.

About 8:00 p.m last Monday, Fr Gregoire, a member of the Communauté de Saint Jean, was attacked in Avignon, France, by four thugs of North African origin. The priest was beaten unconscious, suffered a broken nose and had to spend the night in a hospital. The anticlerical French media ignored the incident. Gloria.tv supposes that if Fr. Gregoire were a homosexual and if he were beaten by white homophobes, the story would have been given immeditate and complete coverage by the French media.
