Is this the future? It sounds like the Folk masses I heard years ago in Brasil while teaching at the Seminar Redemptoris Mater in Brasilia. At the Seminary itself the Portuguese was used to create a truly sublime Mass. Latin in itself is not necessary. Russian Orthodox liturgy is sublime. What I hear is not different then many a Protestant service, banal, second rate amateur singers, a uninspiring …More
