Basilica Denied: Catholics Become Hurons

At Pentecost, Wisconsin Catholics wanted to attend Mass in union with the Paris-Chartres pilgrims.

But the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians in Erin turned them down, so they improvised a chapel. Shawn Tribe explains on Facebook (May 30) that the setting reminded him of the Indian mission chapels that can still be found in places like Midland, Ontario or Canada.
