Cardinal Robert Sarah visited Bohemia, Czech Republic, at the invitation of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter from September 14-17.
On Thursday (Exaltation of the Cross) and Friday he celebrated at the Old Rite Cistercian Monastery in Vyšší Brod. On Saturday, he presented the Czech edition of his book "Catechism of Spiritual Life" in České Budějovice. In the afternoon he celebrated a Pontifical Mass in the Roman Rite at the Marian shrine Římově (video below).

In his homily, Sarah said that human life was only meaningful if lived on one's knees before God: “Without God, man is often abandoned, sad, despairing and eternally unfulfilled by what daily life brings him.”
