Monsignor James Powers, the Bishop of Superior, Wisconsin, has accused Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former nuncio to the United States (2011-2016), of "public defamation", reports PillarCatholic.com (decree here).
Monsignor Powers presided over a syncretistic Chrism Eucharist on 19 March, which included a shamanic ceremony in which several women danced around the Novus Ordo table with feathers and drum beats.
Viganò called this a "sacrilegious act that desecrates the cathedral" and said that Mgr Powers was "not a successor of the Apostles, but a servant of Freemasonry" [although the event must be blamed entirely on the Novus Ordo Church, not on anyone else]. He further apostrophised Bishop Powers as "a squalid official of the ecumenical religion" and "a dutiful executor of Santa Marta's wishes".
The accused defended himself by revealing that a similar shamanic ceremony had been performed at his installation as Bishop of Superior in 2016, adding that "Archbishop Viganò was present …More

The apostate James Powers makes excuses for violating the First Commandment with the same baseness as a drug addict would when corrected by a former drug addict. Monsignor Viganò, like most of us, was deceived by the heretics of the Novus Ordo. They made us believe that false ecumenism was to seek the conversion of non-Catholics. Monsignor Viganò, like most of us, was deceived by the heretics of the Novus Ordo. They made us believe that false ecumenism was to seek the conversion of non-Catholics. And Monsignor Viganò has condemned the errors after Vatican II, he has rectified them and therefore has all authority to condemn them. And Saint John Chrysostom, that is, the author of the “Imperfect Work”, adds: “Laymen are easily corrected, while priests, if they are bad, are at the same time incorrigible” Saint Alphonsus Mary of Liguori on the Priesthood.

I'm confused and googling the 2016 Mass that Bp Powers accuses Vigano of silence over shamans doesn't show anything. Is this Bishop Powers claiming that, as Nuncio in 2016, Bp Vigano, KNEW in advance there would be some shaman, or pagans involved in the Holy Mass and still attended? Or is he saying that Vigano did not know, and afterwards did not censure or criticize being blindsided like that. And …More

Or is he saying that Vigano did not know, and afterwards did not censure or criticize being blindsided like that. And if that latter is true, what evidence does Powers have that Vigano did not criticize Powers? By 2016 any one with half a brain in the Catholic Church knew that this Pope would not respond---besides, this Pope was too buy trying to get involved in the 2016 election, supporting Hilary Clinton. And if Bishop vigano had a "talk" with Bishop Powers expressing concern about that 2016 Mass, could it be that Bishop Powers has "forgotten" that discussion? This seems like a witch hunt.

You are not the only confused one. If you are a Catholic who is loyal to the faith and you truly see what is going on in the Church, the mess should result in confusion.

Everybody knows that +Vigano is conferring illicit ordinations (Fr Reid in France). Why hasn’t the Vatican done anything about it?

A Wisconsin bishop has publicly rebuked the former apostolic nuncio to the United States, accusing him of defamation and a possibly illicit ordination.

This smug, little weasel of a mitered heretic would do well to change his thinking as well.

The difference is that Archbishop Viganò was an innocent victim of circumstances. Learning from that perverted set up, he never walked into another such environment. But with Monsignor James Powers, it is different, after the first incident, he embraced pagan worshipping to break the Frist Commandment of God and has continued to participate in such activities. Now he is blackmailing those who were victimized in the Satanic way.

Is this your argument?

It may be that Viganò was then waiting for his moment to act.

For some, the glass is half full; for others it is always half empty. No matter what you do, you are damned if you do and you are damned if you don't. Where humans gather, you cannot please them. Jesus proved it.

I think Viganò is a prophet of our time.
