by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira It seems that the impact of Brazilians’ gestures and achievements abroad is reported inconsistently in our country. Telegrams from overseas inform us about the reception of certain literary figures, especially left-wingers or Dom Helder Camara. No Brazilian has received publicity comparable to his since Getúlio Vargas. However, I believe many individuals outside this select group achieve undeniable success abroad that goes unreported. I know of at least one notable case worth sharing. _______________ * * * _______________ Attorney Fábio Vidigal Xavier da Silveira, a young and energetic member of TFP’s National Council, is a farmer on the outskirts of Amparo. Churches in communion with Rome Who are the Christians of Iraq? A long history … After periods of Mongol, Turkoman, and Safavid rule, Mesopotamia fell under the Ottomans, whose empire lasted until the First World War in the early 20th century. It was during the Ottoman period that the East and West Syriac Churches – the Chaldean Catholic Church and the Syriac (or Syrian) Catholic Church, respectively – were formed. The Syriac Catholic Church was created when a Jacobite patriarch united with Rome in the 18th century. The Bishops who did not enter into full communion with Rome formed the Syriac Orthodox Church. Today’s Chaldean Catholic Church dates from 1830, when the historical patriarchate of the Church of the East was united with an earlier Chaldean branch created in the 17th century. An even-earlier Chaldean union from the 16th century subsequently separated from Rome and developed into what are today the Assyrian Church of the East and the Ancient Church of the East. From Head Knowledge To Holy Living The Gospel reading highlights the difference between intellectually accepting the truth of Jesus as the Son of God and living that truth. While Peter professed his faith, he struggled to understand the practical implications of Jesus’s mission, including suffering and death. This journey of faith requires purification through suffering, allowing us to truly live as members of Christ, embracing both His passion and resurrection. Fr. [Saint Bridget of Sweden/ Heliga Birgitta; XIV Century AD: aged 69-70; born: Uppland, Sweden/died: Rome, Papal States; Widow, Mystic; Spiritual Writer; Founder; Patroness of Europe] Chapter 58 ~ The words of the Mother to the bride about how sweet the Mother and the Son are to each other. How Christ is bitter, bitterer, and most bitter for the evil, and how he is sweet, sweeter, and most sweet for the good. The Mother of God said to the bride: “Consider, new bride of my Son, the suffering of my Son, which surpassed in bitterness the suffering of all the saints. Just as a mother would feel the most bitter sorrow and anguish if she saw her son being cut to pieces alive, so, too, was I grieving at the torments of my Son when I saw his bitter sufferings.” Then she spoke to her Son, saying: “Blessed be you, my Son, for you are holy, as it is sung: ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Sabaoth.’ Blessed be you, for you are sweet, sweeter, and most sweet! You were holy before you assumed Manhood, holy …Aktar
"But I am bitterer for those who say that I have given them a free will to sin and not to do good, who say I am unjust since I condemn some and justify others, and who blame me for their own wickedness because I withhold my grace from them. I am most bitter for those who say that my law and commandments are exceedingly harsh and difficult and that no one is able to keep them, who say my suffering is worth nothing for them, and who therefore count it for nothing."
The Diocese of Arlington, in Northern Virginia, has announced the creation of a new apostolate entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP), Bishop Michael Burbidge announced on June 19. Father Jonathan Romanoski FSSP and Father John Audino FSSP have been appointed to the Chaplaincy. Following the motu proprio Traditionis Custodes in 2021, the Diocese of Arlington experienced a unprecedented eradication of Masses in the Roman rite. With 21 locations, Arlington Diocese was one of the strongest for the Roman Rite in the United States. In 2022, the Diocese of Arlington reduced the number of "permitted" Mass locations from 21 to 8. Of those eight locations, only three - Saint Rita in Alexandria, Saint John the Beloved in McLean, and Saint Anthony of Padua Mission in Falls Church - received Vatican permission to continue Masses in parish churches. The remaining five communities were relocated to non-parish churches. #newsYopiywpnrj
The homosexual group Outreach, founded and led by the homosexual activist James Martin SJ, organises its annual conference on June 19-21 at the Jesuit-run Georgetown University. From 2021 to 2024, Francis sent an endorsement message. In 2026, two US Cardinals support the homosexual conference. Outreach published endorsement letters by Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington and Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago (below). Cardinal McElroy wrote on June 19 that he is “delighted” to welcome the homosexual group in Washington, adding: “For I know that the Holy Spirit will be profoundly present in our meetings and discussions at this key time in the history of our Church and our nation.” He wrote that the conference is taking place “at a moment when the pastoral foundations laid by Pope Francis for authentic ministry to and with the LGBT community are being deepened and refined by Pope Leo.” Cardinal McElroy further stressed that the conference comes “directly after the release of Study …Aktar
Actually it's 56 countries against Russia and those who want to kill President Putin. And it's not that they are unable to stop Ukraine or expel them. It's how Putin prefers to go slow to save lives on both sides. But if he wanted to, They would have taken what is theirs long ago. A bunch of bullies trying to break Russia and Kill their President. So far he has been untouchable. And Russia is still doing pretty awesome with everything they are throwing at them and Putin. The Blessed Mother has done an excellent job! It's not Putin's time to go. GOD still has work for him. Maybe wants him alive for his conversion. I can only hope and pray for that. He is an exceptional human being with the patience of a Saint. May GOD Bless him always And The Blessed Mother keep him safe till he can convert before GOD takes him.

Bishop Richard Williamson (+ January 2025) allegedly confirmed to Sean Johnson that he had conditionally consecrated a Archbishop Carlo Viganò, 85, a bishop in 2023. Johnson published a 2023 email from Williamson on Seraphim54.substack.com on June 19. Johnson is a former seminarian of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) and father of nine children who now attends Mass at the US-based Congregation of Saint Pius V (CSPV), a splinter group from the FSSPX. Johnson's publication is consistent with information previously received by Gloria.tv from independent ecclesiastical sources. Viganò was consecrated a bishop by Pope John Paul II in 1992. Since 2023, a persistent rumour about the conditional [second] consecration of Viganò has circulated. Johnson’s article claims that he emailed Viganò twice in November and December 2023 asking about those rumours but didn’t receive a reply. Then, Johnson contacted Williamson. The central statement attributed to Bishop Williamson regarding …Aktar
God bless Bishop Williamson. Perhaps Vigano was "Conditionally Confirmed" by Williamson but that doesn't take away from the fact that Vigano is playing all sides, especially "holy Russia's." I do not doubt the validity of Williamson's act but whether Vigano was in a state to be able to receive it.

Natural England and MPs are urging the government to change its livestock rules to stop ponies on Dartmoor from potentially being culled. Semi-wild ponies have roamed Dartmoor for more than 4,000 years and have become uniquely suited to the boggy landscape, providing a charming sight for those who visit the national park. There was therefore widespread outrage after reports that the government quango Natural England could cause a cull of up to 90% of the ponies, with the Conservative party calling for the government body to be reviewed and possibly stripped of its powers. However, sources at the quango say it is the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ (Defra) policy that is at fault, as it fails to differentiate between sheep and ponies. Because the barren moors are so overgrazed, putting species including rare birds and butterflies at risk as there is no food or nesting sites for them, Natural England said there should be an aim to destock the moors by 76%.
