THE VATICAN NOTE ON NOSTRA AETATE INTERPRETS VATICAN COUNCIL II IRRATIONALLY AND NOT RATIONALLY AS DO THE SSPX AND SEDEVACANTISTS
The Vatican’s Note on Nostra Aetate interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally. The Society of St. Pius X and the sedevacantists do the same. With Vatican Council II rational, we begin with Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. We then observe that hypothetical and invisible cases mentioned in Nostra Aetate are not objective exceptions for AG 7 or the Catechism of the Catholic Church (845, 846, and 1257).
So Vatican Council II is saying that outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. This is the pre and post Vatican Council II teaching. The Council and Catechism are Magisterial and Apostolic even, if the popos cited in this document are irrational, dishonest and political on this issue. –Lionel Andrades

Fr.Davide Pagliarani has said that outside the Church there is no salvation but he aceepts Lumen Gentium 16 ( being saved in invincible ignorance ) etc as bein' avisible exception ' for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This was also the mistake of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.
So for him outside the Church there really is salvation. For me Lumen Gentium 16 refers to an invisible case. So there are no practical exceptions for extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( Council of Florence 1442) mentioned in Vatican Council II in 2026.
The same mistake of the SSPX is made by the sedevacantists Bishops Donald Sanborn and Mark Pivarunsas - and also Peter and Michael Dimond of the MHFM. NY.
