Bishop Appointed by Leo XIV Backs ‘Female Pope’ Campaign The Diocese of St. Gallen, Switzerland, launched its "I’m In" ("Ich bin dabei") campaign on May 4 across 25 towns and villages. The billboard, web and social media campaign features clergy, church employees and volunteers posing provocative questions. One poster shows a pastoral worker asking: “Shall we pave the way for the election of the first female Pope?” — followed by the campaign’s signature response: "I’m in." Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Beat Grögli as Bishop of St. Gallen in May 2025, despite his publicly known support for the ordination of women
Lord Bebo @MyLordBebo DRONE MANUFACTURING SITE HIDDEN AMONG CIVILIANS Russia struck the legendary film studio Dovzhenko, and according to Ukrainian sources destroyed 1,000 legendary film costumes. But why? -> Because the footage Ukrainian emergency services posted from the destroyed site pro turned into a drone manufacturing site. Why does Ukraine hide drone manufacturing in such important sites!? Russia destroyed an FP2 drone manufacturing site hidden in a civilian TV studio. Ukrainian sources deleted the posts quickly, but the internet is forever.
More proof that when Russia strikes anything, it's what they were aiming at. And it will never be civilians. Ukraine always targets hospitals in Russia, as well as their own in Ukraine, schools, shopping centers and so on. Even leaving landmines for children to step on so they can maim them.
The SSPX view held by Bp. Schneider: “If this is not the minimum, then what shall the minimum be?,” he asked, referencing their recent Declaration of Faith and loyalty to the Pope. “At the same time,” he observed, “the German synodal way and other bishops around the world openly proclaim heresies and permit blasphemies during liturgies, all unpunished and not corrected.”
VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — With the Society of Saint Pius X’s episcopal consecrations and the accompanying threatened excommunication now just over two weeks away, a prominent prelate has given advice on what position Catholics who attend the Society will be in. “I think the faithful and the Society simply profess the faith of all times,” said Bishop Athanasius Schneider in a recent interview with journalist Matt Gaspers. “They profess it, accept the Pope, pray for him, and profess the Catholic faith. This is the minimum really required to be in communion.” (The full interview can be watched here) As it stands, the Holy See appears unlikely to change its stance regarding the SSPX and the planned episcopal consecrations. This means that, come the July 1 consecration date, the Holy See would deem that such consecrations without the papal mandate would incur “the excommunication established by the law of the Church.” Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández’s document from May 13 declares …
Christian Nationalism’s Dark Forebears nytimes.com/…/14/opinion/christian-nationalism-ma… June 14, 2026 By David French Opinion Columnist I just finished an extraordinarily illuminating book. It’s not new — it was first published in 2001 — but if you follow the growth and influence of Christian nationalism in the United States, it feels fresh. It’s by the British historian Julian Jackson, an expert on the French experience in World War II, and it’s called “France: The Dark Years, 1940-1944.” It’s about the regime that emerged after France’s catastrophic defeat in World War II. And as strange as this might sound, reading about the Vichy government is like reading a MAGA Christian fever dream. The nation that the Catholic Vichy nationalists constructed in the unoccupied portion of France is very much like the world that American Christian nationalists are trying to build. If you read the words “Vichy France,” to the extent that they register at all, one word is likely to come to …Gehiago
Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance sees "different ways" by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”
JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."

Dr. Mark was a world-renowned oncologist. One day, he boarded a flight to catch a major medical conference in another city, where he was scheduled to receive a prestigious lifetime achievement award for his groundbreaking cancer research. However, about an hour after takeoff, the plane experienced a mechanical emergency and was forced to make an unscheduled landing at a small regional airport. Determined to make it to the event, Dr. Mark rented a car and hit the highway. But shortly after he set off, the weather took a turn for the worst. A brutal storm rolled in, bringing torrential rain and heavy winds. The downpour was so intense that his phone lost its data connection, causing Google Maps to glitch. He took a wrong turn, missed his exit, and got completely turned around. After two hours of driving in circles down dark, unfamiliar backroads, he realized he was hopelessly lost. Starving, exhausted, and running on fumes, he scanned the landscape for anywhere he could pull over. Finally …Gehiago
Leo XIV cautioned that the planned ordination of Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) bishops could push the group toward schism, urging them again to stop and remain in communion with the Church.
Il Pontefice annuncia pure che verrà esteso un altro appello ai lefebvriani: “La divisione nella Chiesa è sempre un dolore”
Most things you hear today probably would not shock you anymore. For the most part, very little surprises me either. However, one piece of news did shock me. A few days ago, I learnt that St. Teresa's Catholic church in Dublin will be holding an LGBT prayer service. I don't know about you, but that is shocking. Especially since the Church's teaching is clear - practising homosexuality is a sin. Answering an Objection - Jesus would never turn people away. This is true. Our Lord never turns away a humble and contrite heart. He also said that if you love Him, practise His Commandments. Pride flags have previously been displayed all over the interior of this church for previous "LGBT services". This is clearly about accepting and normalising the sin, not about accepting the person. Answering another objection - we need to welcome everyone. The most "welcoming" thing a Catholic can do for these people is to show them the truth on the Church's teaching on sexual morality. This would be the …Gehiago

Iran Found Trump’s Bone Spur June 16, 2026 By Bret Stephens Opinion Columnist Iran’s military leaders have greeted the cease-fire agreement with President Trump as a triumph, crowing that “through the imposition of their divine and iron will” they had “humiliated American and Zionist enemies.” Mostly, they’re right. Mostly, because it’s worth remembering that the current regime in Iran is far less formidable than it was before the Hamas assault on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Back then, Iran had potent allies and proxies in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and Yemen. Its nuclear program was intact and steadily accumulating ever larger quantities of highly enriched uranium. It had a powerful military-industrial base, a weak but functional economy and a government that — for all its repressiveness — was internationally recognized as legitimate. Today, much of that is either gone or diminished. Iran is no longer within sprinting distance of a bomb. Its ally in Syria was deposed. Hezbollah, Hamas …Gehiago
A former teacher and his homosexual partner, a financial sales manager, have been convicted at Preston Crown Court, Lancashire, of murdering and sexually abusing a toddler they were in the process of adopting. Jamie Varley, 37, was found guilty of murder, two counts of assault by penetration, multiple counts of child cruelty, grievous bodily harm, and offences involving indecent images. John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child, child cruelty, and sexual assault. The victim was born on June 16, 2022, at Wythenshawe Hospital in Greater Manchester. Five days later, social services placed him with foster carers under an emergency order. His mother had a long criminal record, including a murder conviction in 1998. Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved as prospective adopters in January 2023, and the boy moved into their home in April 2023. Prosecutors said the child was subjected to sustained abuse almost immediately after his placement. …Gehiago
Real-world example of private industry vs. government bureaucracy. Compare: SpaceX founded in 2002: $12B in capital invested VOLUNTARILY to transport humans, satellites and rockets into SPACE. California High-Speed-Rail started in 2008: $15B+ FORCED from taxpayers to build a high-speed rail system to transport only humans across the EARTH. Results: SpaceX spent $12B: Revolutionized rockets, satellites, and space travel. Over 15,000 payloads launched into space, over 12,000 Starlink satellites deployed, over 99% success rate across Falcon launches. California High-Speed-Rail spent $15B: After 17 years, still has not transported a single passenger to any destination anywhere on the planet. Consequences: SpaceX - Success Goes public over $2T increases shareholder valuation thousands of percent and humanity benefits. California High-Speed-Rail - Failure Taxpayers zero recourse to recover wasted $15B+. No politician held liable. No contractor accountable. All money is simply RIP. If you were …Gehiago
