Vatican Press Director Under Fire Over Workplace Relationship: SilereNonPossum.com reports that Vatican Press Office Director Matteo Bruni allegedly has a relationship with an employee that “isn’t very clear”. However, one staff member added: “Actually, it’s very clear.” Sources provided chats, videos, and images allegedly showing Bruni with employee Chiara Armenti, including photos of them having drinks and dinner together outside working hours in Rome. Armenti, who has headed the Bulletin for the past year, is said by colleagues to enjoy a “privileged relationship” with Bruni that has “been wearing down the atmosphere in the Press Office for years.” Colleagues further allege that, feeling protected by the director, she has increasingly treated coworkers with condescension and arrogance, including those who had worked in the office long before her arrival.
Jesus didn’t come from within our system. He stepped into it. Born into time, but not bound by it. Fully human, yet fully God. Every other religious system begins with humanity reaching upward - trying to understand God, please God, or become like God through effort, discipline, or enlightenment. But the message of the Gospel is fundamentally different: God came down. Not as an idea or philosophy, but as a person who entered history, experienced hunger, fatigue, temptation, and suffering - yet without sin. This is the Incarnation: God becoming human, walking through our reality, and living under the same physical limits we do - feeling the same pressures of living in our broken world. Because of this, Christ offers understanding, representation, and redemption from within the human experience itself. Yet, death didn't hold Jesus. Sin didn't corrupt Him. Where every other human story ends in limitation, He broke through it. His resurrection wasn't just a miracle - it was a declaration …More
The introduction of assisted suicide is inevitable once the restrictions imposed by so-called “euthanasia” are lifted. People will be assigned a value, and a determination will be made as to whether it is worth treating them.
Canadian Doctors Try to Railroad Catholic Priest into 'Assisted Suicide' Over Broken Hip | Frank Bergman, Slay News A Canadian Catholic priest is sounding the alarm after doctors tried to pressure him into “assisted suicide” twice while recovering from a broken hip in a hospital, despite him telling them that euthanasia goes against his beliefs. Father Larry Holland, a 79-year-old priest from the Archdiocese of Vancouver, was horrified that Canadian government-sanctioned doctors attempted to railroad him into being euthanized, despite not being terminally ill. The priest’s alarming story underscores growing concerns that Canada’s state-sanctioned assisted suicide program is spiraling far beyond its original limits. Holland said he was “very shocked” after medical pushed so-called “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAiD) as an “option” during his recovery from a hip fracture. Priest Offered Death While Recovering, Not Dying Holland broke his hip after falling on Christmas Day. He is …More
NYT: "You've been talking on your show about whether Trump is the Antichrist". Tucker Carlson: "I have not said that". NYT: You said, "Here's a leader mocking the Gods of his ancestors, mocking the God of Gods, and exalting himself above them. Could this be the Antichrist?" TC: "I actually did not say 'could this be the Antichrist?'" NYT: ***plays clip of him saying exactly that*** TC: "I don't know where that comes from, but I know those words never left my lips"
Tucker doing a good job. Typical media cornering. There is a large data center under Jerusalem from where the genocide of the native Semites is directed. A prototype of what is planned under the White House Ballroom. Which will be kept secret under executive privilege.
Leo XIV is set to sign his first encyclical on May 15, according to the German news agency KNA. The working title is Magnifica humanitas. Reports suggest, the encyclical will address expected to address issues including artificial intelligence, peace, the crisis of international law, and other contemporary threats facing humanity. The May 15 date would place Leo XIV’s first encyclical in the tradition of the Church’s great social teachings: • 15 May 1891: Rerum Novarum by Pope Leo XIII - foundational text of modern Catholic social teaching. • 15 May 1931: Quadragesimo anno by Pope Pius XI - developed subsidiarity and social doctrine further. • 15 May 1961: Mater et magistra by Pope John XXIII - focused on labor and economic justice. First of all, I believe that the Novus Ordo Mass is a valid Mass. But also, in my personal opinion, it is insufficient. What do I mean by insufficient? It lacks some of the elements that mark it as our HIGHEST form of worship. Not because it is less elaborate in external elements. Not because it is not in Latin. But because it was stripped down in its prayers. Those prayers and psalms that are embedded into the rubrics themselves, most of them are gone. Now, this isn’t about whether the new Mass is valid or not. I’ve already said it is. That’s not the issue. The point here is that there’s an objective weakening in the new Mass that affects the doctrinal clarity of its sacrificial nature. And honestly, this ties into a bigger problem. Our society right now tends to oversimplify everything. But when you start simplifying the way we worship, it doesn’t just stay there, it starts to shape and weaken how we believe. Now my question is this: why did the reformers do it? If their only reason …More
The Transalpine Redemptorist community has proclaimed itself sedevacantist. In a letter dated 2 May, they wrote: "The pre-Vatican II popes condemned indifferentism as a deadly heresy. The post-Vatican II claimants to the papacy have embraced it, promoted it and acted upon it." The group has three monasteries. The community's mother house is located in Papa Stronsay, Orkney, Scotland. They also have a house in the Diocese of Christchurch, New Zealand, and a pioneer community in the Diocese of Great Falls–Billings, Montana, USA. In 2008, they broke away from the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X in order to obtain regularisation from the Vatican, they were then invited by diocesan bishops to establish priories in New Zealand and Montana. Critics accuse the community of fostering a personality cult surrounding the two leading priests. In their new letter, signed by all the members, they state that "the modernist presence within the structures and hierarchy of the official Church has gone …More
DC1 St. Athanasius of Alexandria – The Doctors of the Church with Dr. Matthew Bunson From Vatican.va, an excerpt from the teachings of Pope Benedict XVI General Audience 2007: Athanasius was undoubtedly one of the most important and revered early Church Fathers. But this great Saint was above all the impassioned theologian of the Incarnation of the Logos, the Word of God who – as the Prologue of the fourth Gospel says – “became flesh and dwelt among us” (Jn 1: 14). For this very reason Athanasius was also the most important and tenacious adversary of the Arian heresy, which at that time threatened faith in Christ, reduced to a creature “halfway” between God and man, according to a recurring tendency in history which we also see manifested today in various forms. In all likelihood Athanasius was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in about the year 300 A.D. He received a good education before becoming a deacon and secretary to the Bishop of Alexandria, the great Egyptian metropolis. As a close …More
