The Black Legend of the 'Stolen Babies' in Spain Refuted

A forensic study has rejected long-standing claims of an organised network of 'stolen babies' in Spain during the second half of the 20th century.
Conducted by five forensic geneticists from the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences (INTCF), the research was published in March.
What did the "narrative" claim?
The 'stolen babies' narrative, which gained widespread attention in the 2000s and 2010s, alleged that, during the Franco era and beyond (1950s–1990s), newborn babies were systematically taken from their parents in hospitals. Mothers were told their babies had died, while the children were allegedly given to other, regime-loyal families - sometimes for money.
The narrative described a coordinated network involving medical staff, hospital administrators and religious institutions, including Catholic institutions.
Advocacy groups and reports have claimed that up to 300,000 babies were stolen.
The first religious figure to be formally investigated was Sister María …More

From Head Knowledge to Heart Faith
The resurrection of Jesus is a necessary fulfillment of scripture, as the rabbis understood it and as confirmed by Jesus’ appearances to his disciples. Despite witnessing the resurrection, the apostles panicked, highlighting the difference between intellectual belief and heartfelt faith. True peace and freedom from fear come from believing in Jesus’ teachings and promises with the heart, not just the head.

Iran’s Biolabs Face Imminent Containment Failure

Iran’s Biolabs Face Imminent Containment Failure
Destroying every power plant and bridge in Iran could simultaneously collapse containment at multiple dual-use biolabs by cutting electricity, refrigeration, ventilation, and staff access.
Until now, I have refrained from commenting on the Iran War. However, imminent developments have created the real risk of a major public-health catastrophe, compelling me to share this information.
President Trump has given Iran until
Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET (today) to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face the destruction of every power plant and bridge in the country. At a White House press conference, he said: “Every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o’clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding and never to be used again.”
Iran’s known and suspected biological weapons facilities depend on the same power grids and transport links that the White House has promised to destroy. If “Power Plant Day …

LOL. If Shiite law banned nuclear and chemical weapons, they certainly would have no biolabs. Remember Obama exported the COVID bioweapon to Wuhan. Another example of evil doers projecting unto others of what they have planned.

Leo XIV: Trump’s Threat to Iranian People Unacceptable

From Castel Gandolfo, Leo XIV issued a call for peace talking to journalists. The continuing escalation is not resolving anything: “It is only provoking more hatred throughout the world.”
Leo XIV urged consideration for civilians, saying: “I would like to invite everyone to think of the many innocent children, the elderly.”
Commenting on warnings of large-scale destruction, he said: “This is truly not acceptable. Here there are certainly questions of international law, but even more than this a question of morality for the good of people.”
Regarding military actions, Leo XIV added that attacks on civilian infrastructure are “a sign of the hatred and division that we are capable of.”

Leo XIV condemns ‘unacceptable threats against the Iranian people’

Castel Gandolfo - As he left Castel Gandolfo this evening, Leo XIV spoke in very firm terms about the risk of a further escalation against Iran. “Today, as we all know, a threat has been made that affects the entire Iranian people. This is unacceptable. What is at stake involves questions of international law, but קודםall a grave moral question concerning the good of an entire people. I invite everyone to think of the many innocent people, the children, the elderly, who would be the first victims of an escalation and of war. We must return to dialogue and negotiation. We must seek ways of resolving problems before reaching this point. We need to pray very much, but also to make our voice heard clearly: we do not want war, we want peace.”
The Pope’s words came in the very same hours that Archbishop Paul S. Coakley, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, issued a direct appeal to Donald Trump, asking him to step back “from the brink of war

This is where every heartbreak will finally make sense.
Every unanswered prayer.
Every closed door.
Every relationship that didn’t last.
Every moment you sat there wondering:
“God, what are You doing?”
It won’t feel random anymore. It won’t feel like it was wasted. It'll feel that everything happened exactly as it should have.
Scripture never promised a life without pain - it promised a God who works through it.
Romans 8:28 doesn’t say "some" things work for good for those who love Him. It says *all* things work for good. Not just the wins, not just the blessings, but the heartbreak too.
The truth is, we spend so much of our lives demanding explanations now - as if we’re entitled to understand the Author, while we’re still in the middle of the story. But one day, standing in eternity, you won’t be asking: “Why did this happen?”
You’ll be saying: “Now I see why it had to happen.”
The betrayal you thought that broke you?
It protected you.
The delay you resented?
It prepared you.

Leo XIV Sends Message to Besieged Christian Village in Lebanon

Pope Leo XIV has issued an Easter message to residents of Debel, a predominantly Christian village in southern Lebanon, currently besieged by ongoing Israeli bombardments and military restrictions. The message was delivered through Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
Leo XIV expressed “paternal closeness and tenderness” to the people of Debel and extended compassion to all civilians suffering amid the conflict in South Lebanon.
The message encouraged residents to find spiritual strength in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, despite the “sorrow, anguish, and mourning” brought on by the violence and isolation facing the village.
The Pope also urged the community not to lose hope, assuring them that their prayers and suffering are not forgotten.
Invoking the protection of Our Lady of Lebanon, he concluded by offering his Apostolic Blessing to the people of Debel and their families.

Epstein in Paris: How a Sex Offender Hustled for Access to France’s Elite
Jeffrey Epstein spent his last days of freedom in Paris, meeting with influential figures. It was a playbook he used everywhere he lived to stamp a veneer of respectability on a life of sordid criminality.
nytimes.com/…/world/europe/epstein-paris-france- …
In his last days as a free man, busy in his part-time home of Paris, Jeffrey Epstein did not appear like someone who dreaded a legal reckoning. There were meetings with architects and interior decorators. A dinner with Norwegian diplomats. Appointments with a Russian French mathematician and a Kuwaiti former official.
It was a Paris sojourn like countless others for Mr. Epstein, whose every-other-month visits since the early 2000s had been a mix of restless networking, real estate shopping and, according to testimony gathered by French prosecutors, systematic sex trafficking.
It was a playbook used by Mr. Epstein in every place he lived: From Manhattan to …More

Bishop Robert Barron has spoken out against criticism of his appearance at last week's White House Easter Lunch: 'In regard to the event at the White House, I had absolutely no control over what the other ministers said. My own contribution was focused on Jesus and the events of Holy Week--and I prayed for the country and that the President would govern according to God's will. To draw the conclusion that I am some mindless supporter of the MAGA movement is a calumny'

Iranian villagers protect downed U.S. airman, while lefty Europeans root for his capture

It's an upside-down world when Iranian villagers seek to protect U.S. servicemen from Iran's mullah regime, while our purported European allies root for his capture.
That really happened with the recent incident regarding a downed U.S. airman whose case for rescue was made that much more dangerous by a leaker on the U.S. side, who alerted the Iranian goons of his presence on Iranian soil and got them hunting for him.
But the news was not all bad. Something unexpected happened -- in a spontaneous gesture, the Iranian villagers rushed in to protect him from capture by the Revolutionary Guard goons who were looking for him to capture. It was not without risk -- some may die as a result with angry mullah goons now looking for them. But it was the price of freedom, a price they were willing to pay.
Reports confirm the downed F-15 pilot in Iran was sheltered by heroic villagers in Yasuj’s Kakan region before US Special Forces arrived.

Major Finnish Study Finds Psychiatric Morbidity Increased with "Gender Reassignment"

A Finnish study has found that psychiatric morbidity increased over time among adolescents who underwent "gender reassignment".
Published in Acta Paediatrica and led by Professor Riittakerttu Kaltiala, the research followed more than 2,000 young people referred to gender identity programs, alongside over 16,000 matched controls, with follow-up extending up to 25 years. The study includes hormones and/or organ mutilations.
It is a nationwide observational study, not a randomized trial. Among those who received medical interventions:
- Psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in individuals undergoing feminising treatments.
- It rose from 21.6% to 54.5% in those undergoing masculinising treatments.
The study reports that psychiatric morbidity remained substantially elevated over time.
Even after accounting for prior psychiatric history, "gender-referred" adolescents showed substantially higher psychiatric morbidity than matched peers.
Nearly 48% had already received specialist …More
