Amnesty International UK published a report on 8 July listing the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales among 117 organizations it described as part of an “anti-rights movement” in the United Kingdom. The report, A Growing Threat: the Anti-Rights Movement in the UK, said the listed organizations formed an ecosystem seeking to undermine the rights of women and homosexuals. It also named the Catholic Medical Association, Premier Christian News, J.K. Rowling’s women-only support service Beira’s Place, and a number of Christian, pro-life, and gender-critical organizations. The report defined “anti-rights actors” as groups, individuals, and public or private bodies seeking to weaken human rights protections in law and practice. The correct wording would have been: "...so that they may persevere in this office."

French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, has announced that the government's assisted dying bill will be referred to the Constitutional Council following its expected final approval in the National Assembly on 15 July. This will not prevent the law from being adopted, but it will delay its implementation until the highest constitutional authority in France has ruled on its compliance with the Constitution. Even the biology of the continent documents this shift. A millennium ago, the Ross Sea hosted around 200,000 elephant seals as far south as 78 degrees. Today, those colonies are gone. They disappeared as the region froze over: too cold and ice-choked for breeding or foraging. Jesus Mosaic from Plastic Bottle Caps: Students from Instituto Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Buenos Aires, Argentina, have created a mosaic of the face of Jesus using thousands of plastic bottle caps. The face is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. The project was shared by their art teacher, Sebastián Ramírez. He included the phrase "Soli Deo Gloria" ("Glory to God alone") in the post. The students have previously created mosaics honoring Pope Francis, Salvador Dalí, and Lionel Messi.
